keshi Live at the Coca-Cola Coliseum

keshi performed at the Coca-Cola Coliseum on March 19, 2023, for the 25th stop of his HELL & BACK tour.

By performing hit songs from his extensive discography, he was able to treat his audience to an incredible sonic experience. This was no surprise, however, as ADDICTED was able to cover his 2022 Toronto performance at the Danforth Music Hall. There, he showed off his ability to effortlessly blend hip-hop beats, softer lo-fi instrumentals, and piercing falsettos throughout his songs. Accordingly, he showed that he was able to treat a live audience to a concert filled with a mix of exciting high-energy moments and passionate emotional moments.

What was surprising at his show this year was his steady improvement as a performer. At this show, he was able to do everything he did at the Danforth Music Hall last year, but with an elevated and improved stage presence. He exuded this newfound poise which made him appear very comfortable on stage. He had more animated mannerisms, experimented more with on-stage song alterations, and had overall stronger live vocals. He embodied the characteristics of a seasoned performer and owned the arena’s stage. Ultimately, despite the Coca-Cola Coliseum being much larger than the Danforth Music Hall (7500-person capacity versus 1500-person capacity), keshi’s presence felt more grandiose at this show. The energy he exuded was unequivocally felt by every audience member in the arena.

As an aside, this show was quite the full circle moment for keshi. His very first Toronto performance was at the Coca-Cola Coliseum on October 6, 2021, when he opened for LANY‘s gg bb xx tour. In less than two years’ time, he was able to headline this arena, sell it out, and provide a high-calibre concert experience for his fans. This was a very impressive feat.

The full setlist of the night was as follows:

  3. less of you

  5. beside you
