CHEERS TO 2022 WITH 2021’S FAVOURITE NEW COCKTAILS

Which drink will you have in hand to ring in the new year?  If you love cocktails, we recommend one of these three, which made 2021 a lot tastier!

Disaronno Velvet

Rejoice! The legendary amaretto, Disaronno, has launched the first-ever cream liqueur!  Pour over ice and enjoy.  This liquid luxury represents the Dolce Vita lifestyle with 500 years of tradition.  It’s refreshingly smooth and creamy with the unmistakable taste of Disaronno.  This liquid luxury is both complex and velvety on the palate with an Italian elegance that’s perfect for ringing in the new year.

White Velvet
1.5 oz Disaronno Velvet
0.75 oz Tia Maria
0.75 oz Vodka
Garnish: Chocolate flakes or coffee beans

Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice, shake and strain ingredients over ice.

Flor de Caña 12 YR Amber Rum

If you’re dreaming of a green Christmas, look no further than this stunning sustainable rum by Flor de Caña.  It’s the world’s only spirit that is Carbon Neutral and Fair Trade Certified and ideal for the eco-advocates you will be toasting this NYE.  They’re also distilled with 100% renewable energy and plant 50,000 trees each year with their partner One Tree Planted.

Flor-Sparkler:
1.5 oz of Flor de Caña Rum 12yr
2 oz of champagne or prosecco
¾ oz of fresh lime juice
¾ oz of simple syrup
2 dashes of Angostura bitters

Add ingredients to a champagne flute and top with prosecco, garnish with mint and raspberries.

Mott’s Reserve

Who doesn’t love a Caesar?  Clearly very few people since 400M Caesars were consumed in 2021 –  and this is why we recommend toasting your friends and family with Canada’s cocktails.  Since it’s a special occasion, may we recommend trying the Mott’s Clamato Reserve!  It’s made with all-natural ingredients and flavours and some fire roasted japaneo puree!  It’s new and special, which means it’s the ideal way to welcome 2022.

You can use the Reserve in the 1-2-3-4-5 method for creating the perfect Caesar too: 1 oz. vodka / 2 dashes of hot sauce / 3 grinds of salt and pepper / 4 dashes of Worcestershire sauce / 5 oz. Mott’s Clamato Reserve

Please drink responsibly!
