Singer-songwriter Alejandro Aranda performed at The Baby G in Toronto on a busy Saturday night. Now performing under the stage name Hondo, the multi-instrumentalist started his acoustic set, showcasing his intricate guitar skills and haunting vocals with “The Darkness.” Alejandro thanked the crowd before playing some of his notable songs, including “10 Years,” “Out Loud,” and “Millennial Love.”
Alejandro kept the show going, having conversations with the crowd. One audience member drove three hours to see Alejandro, which brought the crowd and the singer to elation. He entertained the crowd with stories about how he wrote his songs with his best friend in Los Angeles and how “Millennial Love” was inspired by his quitting his job. In the end, it was a fun, intimate acoustic set with Alejandro, as the audience hopes he returns to Toronto soon, probably with an orchestra he dreamt of.
Alejandro Aranda is currently on his Honda World Tour with supporting act Jake Swamp and the Pine. Check out updates and shows from his website here.
