Top 5 Fenty Products You Need To Try

I tend to be skeptical of celebrity skincare, makeup and perfume lines but we have seen an uprising of celebrity owned brands making genuinely top-tier items. For the past few months we’ve been testing Fenty items to see if Rihanna’s skincare line is truly worth the hype. These are our five favourite items that we are keeping in rotation.

Starting with the base layer, the Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Primer. This primer is hydrating, adds radiance and is a soft matte texture. While I had recently been enjoying jelly primer’s, the Fenty Primer still has great hold and works well with my skin routine to avoid pilling or any blending issues. The primer also gives enough glow and shine that the product could be used on it’s own or under a lightweight BB cream or buildable foundation to provide luminescence.

The Fenty Beauty Loose Setting Powder in Banana changed the setting powder game for me. It mattified in a way no other powder has for me previously. There was genuinely next to no transfer when testing how set my face was with a tissue or my hand on my face. After 12 hours of wear I would get minimal oil around my nose. The amount of product dispensed through the FB within the powder is also the perfect amount and the entire product lacks quite some time despite me baking under the eye and using quite heavily all over the face

The Fenty Cream Gloss is otherworldly in the realm of glosses. Long gone are the days of tacky glosses. The Fenty Cream gloss is, as it describes, creamy as opposed to sticky. The formula is quite hydrating and long lasting with a nice pigment.

The Fenty blushes blew me away! I tried both the cream and powder blush in Petal Poppin’. The cream blush blends so beautifully into my skin and mixes well with my foundation. After setting with powder, I added the powder version over top to add a little bit more pop. Again, even the powder blends beautifully and is quite pigmented requiring the lightest touch. This product is so well loved I have hit pan on the cream blush!

Overall, the Fenty makeup products have been worth the hyper, worth the cost and are quality products for your makeup routine. I look forward to trying the hair and skincare products that Rihanna and her team have developed next!
