The annual Art Gallery of Ontario party Art Bash brings lovers, supporters and donors of the gallery together to schmooze, network and dance while supporting the continued success of the AGO. On Sept 26th they gear up to throw the art lovers party yet again!
This year, Art Bash is all about COLOUR – celebrating the gallery’s collection of modern art and the bold role colour plays in artistic expression. Guests will have a chance tp explore the AGO’s Moments in Modernism exhibition, featuring works by legendary artists including Mark Rothko, Ellsworth Kelly, Rita Letendre, and Jack Bush, enjoy cuisine and cocktails influenced by modern art, and spectacular installations by artists, musicians and fashion designers.
Last year, guests filled the space and donned their best avant-garde colourful looks while eating and sipping around legendary pieces of art. This year’s fun filled soirée will also have performances from Kiesza, drag queen Tynomi Banks, and Ralph. Local artists featured will include Mony Zakhour, Scott Everingham, Dan Jamieson, Sean Weisgerber.
