Hotel Mira play Hamilton’s Bridgeworks

This Valentine’s Day weekend, Hamilton’s Rexford Drive opened up an exciting, energy-filled night at the north-end venue Bridgeworks. The band made sure to get the room moving and dancing early with their light indie rock tunes. As more people rolled in, Fake Shark took the stage asserting their presence with a reminder that they would be “your new favourite band”. With a fan blowing the hair of lead singer Kevvy Mental, and singalongs for the crowd, they kept the energy palpable and everyone engaged as they welcomed Hotel Mira.
When Hotel Mira stepped onto the stage to Total Eclipse of the Heart fans already started cheering and dancing. Lead singer Charlie Kerr always sports creativity in his look and wardrobe, this time having rhinestones decorate his face. The whole set was high energy, with lots of hip-swaying and audience interaction. It’s great to see an impressive band like Hotel Mira gain popularity every time they return to the city, playing bigger venues and attracting larger crowds. Overall it was a great way to spend a Saturday night in the city.
