On August 6, 2026, the RBC Amphitheatre in Toronto transformed into a sanctuary of rock and metal as Avenged Sevenfold and Good Charlotte brought their highly anticipated co-headlining tour to the city.

Opening the night was Jayden Hammer, who set the tone with a high-energy hybrid set. With just her guitar and vocals for her original tracks, she transitioned into crowd-pleasing DJ remixes of scene staples, one of which was Bring Me The Horizonโ€™s Can You Feel My Heart. Though brief, her set effectively primed the crowd for the heavy hitters ahead.

Before the main acts took over, an immersive interlude kept the audience captivated. The venueโ€™s full-scale screen backdrop, stretching top to bottom behind the stage, synced a vivid visual display to the complete audio playback of the four-track EP STATICA. The synchronized visuals and audio created a multisensory atmosphere, drawing the crowd deep into the thematic weight of the music.

Good Charlotte ignited their co-headlining portion of the night with explosive energy. A burst of flames accompanied their entrance as they launched straight into their iconic hit, The Anthem, triggering an immediate sing-along that echoed across the amphitheatre. Their 19-song set served as a high-octane pop-punk time machine. Early catalogue classics like Girls & Boys, Riot Girl, and Keep Your Hands Off My Girl kept the mosh pits active, while dynamic deep cuts like Wondering and Hold On gave the crowd a chance to belt back every word. A major highlight of the set was when Avenged Sevenfold‘s own M. Shadows and Synyster Gates joined them on stage to perform their hit collaboration The River. They brought the set home with an incredible stretch of fan favorites, including I Don’t Wanna Be in Love (Dance Floor Anthem), The Young and the Hopeless, and I Just Wanna Live, before capping off their slot with a performance of Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous.

M. Shadows was in peak form, effortlessly controlling the crowd during massive sing-alongs like Hail to the King and Seize the Day. Guitarists Synyster Gates and Zacky Vengeance, shredded through razor-sharp duelling solos on Bat Country, while drummer Brooks Wackerman and bassist Johnny Christ anchored the relentless low-end engine driving each song. A major highlight was their live performance of their single Magic, which fit alongside progressive, heavy hitters like Nobody. They saved one of their best for last with Unholy Confessions before concluding the night on an emotional note. Ending with the soundscapes of Cosmic, Avenged Sevenfold left Toronto with a performance defined by technical brilliance, massive stage presence, and pure visual spectacle.
