August 19 2026 was a special day for FAOUZIA. On the second last leg of her Film Noir Tour, she stopped in Toronto at the DANFORTH MUSIC HALL for a sold out night of wonder.

The tour is in support of her debut album of the same title which she released in November of 2025, being her first independent release, and the first release since parting ways with Atlantic Records the year prior.

Being the second last stop of the tour, Faouzia came out gunning. She started the set with LOST MY MIND IN PARIS, which is the first track from her album and has instantly become a fan favourite. She danced her way through WEIRDO, BIRTHDAY, ORNAMENT, Minefields, UNETHICAL and many others before landing on R.I.P. Love and PEACE & VIOLENCE as closers for the show.

Between the lyrics, the performance is electric. Her energy flows through her and into the crowd in a way that is indescribable and her dancing is as flowy and relaxed as a swan on a lake. Walking past the venue a while before the doors opened, I saw the line backed up down the block, and after seeing the show, there’s no mistaking that the line up was worth it.

Faouzia’s career has been ongoing and gaining popularity for over a decade, and still feels like there is plenty of room to grow. With five and a half million monthly listeners on Spotify alone, and rising steadily, the world seems to be in her hands. I believe that there is plenty to be found for listeners worldwide within her already solid discography. With another album or two, I could see the young star returning to Toronto at Scotiabank Arena.

Though Faouzia’s tour is nearly finished, her career isn’t. Stay up to date with all her news, future releases, and future tours on her website and Instagram.
