Fan favourite gourmet hot sauce, TRUFF, has officially partnered with (RED), the AIDS organization founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver, and leading youth culture e-commerce and content platform NTWRK, and we are all for it!
Today, nearly 22 million people living with HIV have access to life-saving medication. AIDS-related deaths have been cut in half in over a decade and the number of babies born each day with HIV has declined by two-thirds in the same timeframe.
That’s where (Red) has had a massive impact and continues today with a range of life-saving HIV-Aids programs;
“Medication is a key piece of winning this fight, but it’s not the only piece. (RED)-funded grants support a diverse range of lifesaving HIV/AIDS programs, including prevention, testing, counselling, and treatment services, sexual reproductive health education, peer mentorship programs and much more.”
To raise the much-needed funds (Red) partners with great brands around the globe to raise money and awareness for the cause, the latest being their spicy partnership with TRUFF Hot Sauce.
The team at TRUFF worked closely with (RED) to create a new hot sauce that debuted exclusively on NTWRK. Culinary star Eddie Huang showcased the hot sauce during an exclusive NTWRK episode that premiered Wednesday, June 19, and since then, people have been going crazy for it, including us!
The all-new (TRUFF)RED Hotter Sauce is a jalapeño rich chilli blend designed for the heat-seeking flavour fanatic.
Through donations from TRUFF and NTWRK, the new hot sauce will raise a total of $50,000 for the fight to end AIDS – enough to provide 250,000 days of life-saving HIV/AIDS medication in sub-Saharan Africa.
