How to show you’re thankful with a card

I remember growing up, my mum always sent out endless cards. At Xmas, she would send stacks, for each bday for pretty much everyone she knew, she sent a hand-written card, and over the years, at the holidays and her birthday, many many cards would come flowing in for her and us.

Some years she must have sent more than 200 cards over the course of the year, and in return, we would get what seemed like the same back. So much so that she hangs all the cards on lines around the holidays.

She always said there is something personal and special about a handwritten note, letter, card, or thank you card, and she still holds that same ideal today and still sends out just as many cards.

To be truthful, there is something warm and fuzzy about receiving a physical card from anyone. That could be a card with a letter from a family remember you haven’t seen in years, it could be correspondence from a pen pal, an invite to a wedding or party, but even if it’s just a note to say hello, or thank you, there’s something special that goes along with a hand-written card.

Now, here’s the only catch to the plan, my mum set aside a fair amount of time to be that organized and also happens to have lovely handwriting, which the latter isn’t the case for most, myself included.

So what if I told you there’s a way to send out automated thank you cards right from your computer without having to use your questionable handwriting. Say hello to Handwrytten.

Handwrytten has automated the process of handwritten notes and cards at scale, so if you or your business would like to send out cards, all you have to do is sign up, fill in the necessary info, and they’ll take care of the rest for your perfect thank you card.

I wanted to take a moment and say thank you.

In business, saying thank you may have even more power than a personal thank you and a card that shows time, energy and care can make the difference between a customer who forgets to one who returns. It adds that personal touch, adds a point of connection, and at the very least, can help brighten someone’s day.

The reality, whether sending a card for personal or professional reasons, pretty much everyone like to receive a thank you in the mail, and if that thank you can be handwritten (or made to look that way), all the better.

Thank you for taking a moment with me today and being one of my amazing readers!
