d4vd Brings The Energy, Toronto Feels It

Gamer and content creator turned indie singer/songwriter kicks off his My House Is Not A Home Tour at the Danforth Music Hall.

The sold-out tour opener had a line that spread west along the Danforth before turning down Broadview Ave. Luckily, by the time d4vd took to the stage along with drummer Devan Monroe and guitarist Mike Zara, the house was packed without a soul left on the street. d4vd began making music to soundtrack the Fortnite montage videos he originally became known for, releasing many on SoundCloud. After Romantic Homicide went viral on TikTok, it eventually rose up the Billboard Hot Alternative Songs chart. With a rise in popularity following the releases of two EPs, Petals to Thorns and The Lost Petals in 2023, d4vd joined SZA on the final US leg of her SOS Tour.

Along with an overjoyed crowd in Toronto, d4vd sang fan faves such as the opening track, Take Me To The Sun, Bleed Out, a Laufey-less rendition of This Is How It Feels, and current smash, Feel It, before closing the night with Romantic Homicide. The My House Is Not A Home Tour continues on June 7 in Philadelphia and winds west and south before a series of shows in Europe starting in London on July 7.
