On September 14 2025, Alex G played Toronto’s HISTORY, returning to the city for the first time since co-headlining with Alvvays in 2023. The night was opened by Nilüfer Yanya, before Alex G took the stage, being met with thundering cheers.
Playing over 25 songs, Alex G put together a mix of songs from his newest album, Headlights, as well as older favourites, such as Runner, Mary, Sarah, and Harvey, before wrapping the night up with Cards. Being accompanied by longtime friends and touring band Samuel Acchione on guitar, Tom Kelly on drums, and John Heywood on bass, the show was spectacular.
Alex G and company continuously thanked fans for coming to the show, and very graciously took the time to individually thank each member of their touring crew while putting emphasis on the role each member does to make the tour happen.
Alex G’s North American tour completely sold out in just a few minutes, prompting the artist to add more shows to follow demand. Many of the added shows sold out in mere minutes as well. Being in the spotlight for well over a decade, he is no stranger to this level of popularity. He steps on stage with a level of confidence that comes from years of dominating the scene, and performs to a level of a master. Learn more about Alex G on his website and Instagram.
