Former Beastie Boy hits the road with family in tow.
Mike Diamond (aka Mike D, Country Mike, The King of Lunch, Sweet Lou, Malibu Mike and now, Mike D 5D) is best known for his ensemble work with the legendary Beastie Boys. This year, Diamond released Thank You as Mike D 5D, a new project band featuring his two sons, Davis and Skylar. Their subsequent tour brought them to Toronto’s History on Oct. 20. The show highlighted most tracks off Thank You, but couldn’t be the crowd-pleaser it was without Beasties’ hits like Hello Brooklyn, So What’cha Want and Body Movin’.
The European leg of the tour is on now. More info here.
