The South Korean indie rock band Wave to Earth enchanted a Toronto crowd on October 27, 2024, during their Play with Earth! 0.03 tour. Known for their guitar-driven melodies and personal lyrics, their sound created a spacious yet intimate atmosphere that paid homage to love.

Formed in 2019, Wave to Earth consists of three core members: Kim Daniel (lead vocals and guitar), Shin Dong-guy (drummer and percussionist), and Cha Soon-jong (bass guitarist). They are joined by accompanying tour members Jo Jung-Geun (keyboards, piano) and Jeon-Min (saxophone). The trio debuted with their single Wave and the EP Wave 0.01, quickly attracting attention for their unique fusion of indie rock, electronic, and folk influences. In January 2020, they released Summer Flows 0.02, featuring their breakout track Seasons. Their popularity soared on social media as this single paved the way for their first studio album, 0.1 Flaws and All, in 2023, followed by their current release, Play with Earth! 0.03.

The concert opened with the powerful track Are You Bored?, followed by Play with Earth! and Peach Eyes, each exploring themes of deep admiration and emotional connection. The band’s passion radiated throughout the performance, with an engaging synergy between the musicians and the audience. Fans eagerly sang along, culminating in the highly anticipated encore performance of Seasons.

Wave to Earth continues to sell out shows, with their next stop in New York before concluding their North American tour in Brooklyn. As they gain momentum and expand their reach, fans eagerly anticipate what lies ahead for this dynamic trio.
