It’s almost that time of year when we take a day to celebrate the great dad’s here in Canada, as Sunday, June 18th, is Father’s Day.
Now here’s the thing, you probably know your father best and thus have an idea of what they might like or need, but in case you need some great ideas, I have a list of some great gifts that will have your dad feeling, and looking his very best thanks to your thoughtful presents, so without further ado, let’s dive in.
If your dad has gotten into the habit of using great skincare, then you can make sure he has all the products he needs to keep him looking his best, and if he hasn’t, you can take this opportunity to get him into using some stellar skincare.
I love the skincare from Belif. It’s top quality and works so well while keeping things simple. From The True Cream – aqua bomb to the brightening vitamin C cream to one of my faves, the moisturizing bomb, these super hydrating and nourishing creams will help your dad look his best on this special day and many more to come.
No matter who you are or what you do, excellent footwear is a must, and after testing the Unisex UA HOVR Phantom 3 Storm Running Shoes from Under Armour, we must admit these are some pretty comfy runners.
The Phantom 3 offers a UA Storm technology-treated upper that repels water without sacrificing breathability. A moulded midfoot panel for added structure & plush interior cushioning. Knit collar for ease of entry & a plush feel with an external heel counter for stable support. Ultra-breathable, SpeedForm 2.0 sock liner provides softer underfoot support and offers reflective details for low-light runs, making them the perfect present for runners and those active dads alike.
That Float-On-Air Feeling
If your dad is anything like mine, he not only needs new shoes, but he also needs insoles for all the other shoes he just won’t let go of but won’t get rid of. If that’s the case, you should give him one or both of these fantastic options.
The most trusted name in add-in foot comfort, Dr. Scholl’s offers two excellent options, the float on air foam insoles that offer all-day comfort to relieve tired, achy feet and the sport massaging gel insoles that help protect feet, knees, and lower back from shock.
Both will help your dad to feel his best from head to toe.
I’m obsessed with men’s UA Run Anywhere Shorts. Super lightweight and comfortable, breathable and quick dry, they are not only perfect for the active dad in your life, they are so comfy and stylish, they are a great pair of shorts for everyone.
The run-anywhere shorts have a 5″ inseam, multiple pockets, and no liner, are made of 100% polyester and come in gray mist/lime surge and still water/rebel pink (pictured below).
When summer rolls around each year, I always stock up on some new tee’s and some other great clothing for the warmer weather, so this year, after testing out the collection from Stanfields and loving it, I thought I might suggest a few pieces. If you’re looking for some super lightweight shirts, you have to check out the men’s basic short sleeve crew t-shirt and the long-sleeve tee, or if you’re looking for something a little heavier for the cooler days, the men’s crew work shirt is a perfect option.
If you also want to get your dad something that will take him through to winter, or perfect addition for camping and cooler nights, you have to check out the super soft Stanfield’s Heritage Shacket. It is buttery soft, super comfy, and will keep Dad warm on those cool nights.
So fresh and so clean
I love stocking stuffer type gifts all year round, so after testing out the line of body wash from J.R. Watkins, I just had to share as their body washes not only work great, but they also leave you feeling so fresh and clean.
This paraben and sulphate-free body wash comes in sandalwood vanilla, wintergreen and spruce, bergamot and oak and is the perfect extra to give to dad in a basket or combination with any of the above gifts.
So, if you’re struggling to find some great gifts for dad, hopefully, this guide helps you find some perfect presents to show your dad how much you care this Father’s Day, and no matter what you give him, make sure you also call, write, or drop by if you can and let him know how loved he is, because that, is truly the greatest present you can give.
