Winter is coming, and that means if you don’t have them already, it is time to get some great slippers or indoor booties to keep your feet warm through the frigid months. So when I came across Glerups, I had to find more and put them to the test.

In 1993, Danish mother Nanny Glerup hand-crafted a pair of slippers using the natural wool from her own Gotland sheep. So well were the slippers loved by family and friends that Nanny’s hobby soon became a small-scale production – two pairs a day!

Nanny and her husband, Ove, worked hard to develop and improve both the process and the final product. Several machines have been invented and modified, making Glerups capable of keeping up with customer demand worldwide, which brings us to today.
