Winter is coming, and that means if you don’t have them already, it is time to get some great slippers or indoor booties to keep your feet warm through the frigid months. So when I came across Glerups, I had to find more and put them to the test.
In 1993, Danish mother Nanny Glerup hand-crafted a pair of slippers using the natural wool from her own Gotland sheep. So well were the slippers loved by family and friends that Nanny’s hobby soon became a small-scale production – two pairs a day!
Nanny and her husband, Ove, worked hard to develop and improve both the process and the final product. Several machines have been invented and modified, making Glerups capable of keeping up with customer demand worldwide, which brings us to today.

If you’re looking for a shoe-style slipper that will still offer great comfort and warmth, the Glerups shoe is perfect for you.
Also made from 100% wool, these shoes offer everything needed to keep you feeling your best through the seemingly endless winters.
Wear them with or without socks. Either way, these quality crafted soft bottom slipper shoes will be the perfect addition for fall, winter and even into the beginning of spring, and while they also make for the perfect present, I think I might be keeping these for myself.

If you’re looking for the same warmth and comfort but love an excellent slip-on with a bit of added traction, then these are definitely for you.
Made from 100% wool, these are also very well made and offer the same great feel, but since they are a slip-on option for those who need a little extra ease.
Just like the other pairs, these can be worn with or without socks, and either way will keep your feet roasty and toasty throughout the long fall, winter, and early spring until we are once again blessed by warmer weather, but until then, we have our Glerups.
