Free Throw’s Moments Before The Wind Tour made a stop at Toronto’s THE OPERA HOUSE on May 12 2026, and changed the lives of everyone in attendance.
I could not describe this show as anything less than passionate. The night was opened by Wakelee, TRSH, and Macseal, who all showed up with energy that got the crowd immediately going.
After a fantastic trio of openers, Free Throw kept the intensity high. Lead vocalist Cory Castro thanked the crowd for showing up, the band exploded into MissingNo. and then worked their way through the setlist that included The Corner’s Dilemma, Tongue Tied, and Randy, I Am the Liquor, before wrapping up with Two Beers In and Hey Ken, Someone Methodically Mushed the Donuts.
The passion stated earlier wasn’t just from the bands though. The crowd was one of the best I have ever seen. Coming fully dressed in merch from previous shows of the bands, and not missing a lyric across any song, the energy from the performers bounced back at them all night. Every song played was met with multiple crowd surfers that The Opera House’s excellent security guards helped over the barricade and out back to the crowd to continue their enjoyment.
The night was a success from all angles, and just adds to the band’s near fifteen year string of greatness. Keep up with their tour on their website and Instagram.
