Lorna Shore Headlines a Night of Unbridled Extreme Metal

New Jersey’s own Lorna Shore absolutely brought the heat, dominating the stage at the Great Canadian Toronto. This unforgettable night of extreme metal showcased a powerhouse lineup, featuring support from melodic deathcore titans Shadow of Intent and the legendary The Black Dahlia Murder.

The energy in the venue was already electric, but it peaked during the circle pit, which made its way around the circumference of the soundboard at the request of The Black Dahlia Murder, during their set. However, in a moment of true metal fashion, the night achieved legendary status: the pit transformed into a battle arena for two fans; one dressed as Jesus, the other as a banana—duelling amid the performance.

Lorna Shore’s set was a display of technical precision and raw vocal power. Frontman Will Ramos took command, unleashing his inhuman range of sounds—from guttural lows to the signature high-pitch shrieks—proving exactly why the band has ascended so rapidly. The stage production, utilizing dramatic, stark lighting, casts imposing shadows, amplifying the dark, theatrical nature of their music and creating an oppressive, yet exhilarating, visual spectacle.

It was a perfect encapsulation of metal culture: brutal music and a genuine, shared sense of ridiculous fun. The show wasn’t just heard; it was felt in the chest and seen in the energy of the dedicated crowd.

This tour has ended, but to see what they have coming up next, check out their Instagram
