With Earth Month coming to a close, I learned about a plethora of products and companies working to make the world a cleaner and better place. Dive into the list below to see how to look good and feel even better knowing your beauty routine is not compromising Mother Earth!

Wildcraft – Canadian, Indigenous, Female Owned

Wildcraft is Toronto based and made, with 100% natural ingredients, priced under $45. The brand is also part of the 1% for the planet pledge, where 1% of proceeds support environmental causes. Founded by Laura Whitaker, her goal was to bring affordable conscious skincare to the everyday route. Skincare options include shampoo and conditioner, moisturizing face creams, serums with targeted use (anti-aging, hyperpigmentation), eye serums/creams, cleansers, scrubs, toners and bio-retinol which is gentler than most retinols on the market.

Elate – Canadian, Female Owned

Elate is a beauty brand that is B-Corp Certified, cruelty free and vegan with minimal packaging and waste. This allows beauty lovers to craft capsule, intentional beauty bags for simplified use. Elate Products are over 75% organic, with 75% of packaging being reusable, recyclable or plantable and can be returned for free for recycle. They are B Corp certified, and they donate 2% of profits to causes that share their values—1% to social initiatives and 1% to environmental initiatives.

The Peace Labs – Canadian, Asian, Female Owned

The Peace Labs, Founded by Judy Hughes, gives a much needed luxurious twist to muscle relaxing roll ons. With 100% natural ingredients, the Peace Balm, rolls on in beautiful glass bottles. Scents come in Lavender, Fresh Rain, Cedar Mist and Eucalyptus. The cooling and tingly sensation is almost immediate and brings great relief!

Ember Wellness – Canadian, Female Owned

Ember Wellness is an innovative, sustainable skin care line that uses solid formats to replace many skin care products. Their serum and highlight bars are shaped like a Gua Sea for toning, while the bar itself is full of ingredients that replace illuminators, serums, moisturizers and more. The brand is also part of the 1% for the planet pledge, where 1% of proceeds support environmental causes.The product comes in metal tins with recyclable cardboard resulting in minimal waste.

Renpure 

Renpure is a high quality, clean beauty and personal care with gently sourced ingredients that never compromises on performance, all at a great value. Their formulas contain no Sulfates, Parabens, Dyes, Gluten, Phthalates, Propylene Glycol all while maintaining the body’s pH balance in 100% recyclable packaging. Every product made by Cake Beauty is conceptualized, tested, and designed at the Cake Beauty head office in Toronto. Products are cruelty free, 100% vegan and naturally luxurious. The new Finish Touch Hair & Body Mist is yummy luxury, scented like pistachio and salted caramel! The spray is infused with Argan Oil and Vitamin E for extra goodness.

Teaology

Teaology is B Corp and Yuka Certified, EWG Verified, Dermatologist Tested, and ISO Compliant, underscoring its leadership in clean beauty. With natural, organic formulations, it ensures safe and effective skincare.
