Pop-rock trio The Band Camino made a return to Toronto on a Sunday night at HISTORY. It’s the band’s second time at the venue after embracing the venue two years ago. They’re in the middle of their tour supporting their latest album, NeverAlways. Opening the shows were indie pop bands In Color and Almost Monday. A sudden snowfall wasn’t going to stop a packed crowd from seeing The Band Camino play their infectious, catchy tunes.
The trio of guitarist Jeffery, Spencer, and guitarist Garrison walked out onto the stage in front of an excited crowd before playing their all-time hit, Daphne Blue. The crowd immediately moved and sang throughout the song as both Jeffery and Spencer effortlessly flew their vocals. The Band Camino had an impressive 24-song set list, featuring a mix of old and new songs. From catchy hits like Infinity to the infectious tune I Think I Like You, The Band Camino showcased their ability to create memorable, eye-catching pop songs on the live stage. Midway through the show, the trio performed a short acoustic set that featured an impressive cover of Justin Bieber’s Daisies.
After a few more tunes, The Band Camino briefly left the stage before coming back to play two more songs. Spencer and Jeffery divided the crowd to sing along to their newest song 12:34 before ending the night with one of their notable songs, All I Want with confetti flying all over the venue. The Band Camino thanked the crowd and gave one last bow to a spectacular and memorable night.
The Band Camino is finishing their North American stops before heading to Europe and the UK next month, and dates in Australia and New Zealand in February—head on to The Band Camino’s website or Instagram for more info.
