Sip Happens: Welcome to the Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge Room

It may be Halloween, but we still have thoughts of the grand event and the grand experience that was the Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge Room in Toronto.

Recently our friends at Grand Marnier invited us out for a very special experience.

It all started with an air of mystery before the day of the event even arrived.  We were told the party would happen in a secret location and entry would only be granted with a secret password, that would be revealed via text message. The awaited text arrived and we were told to dress to impress. And so we did, and off we went to what seemed to be an underground speakeasy. From the moment we set foot in the candlelit, brick and beam underground loft space, we knew that it would be an upscale affair.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a handsome gentleman who asked us for the password. Once we had shared it, we were ushered into an underground speakeasy decorated to the nines with gold and red as far as the eye could see.

As we walked in further we were greeted with a special Grand mariner cocktail and brought to our table.

Once we had been seated the night was filled with great music, fun guests, amazing ambiance, delicious treats, and of course, an array of Grand Marnier cocktails, each more decadent than the last.

So what was the grand idea behind it all? The goal was to showcase Grand Marnier to the industry, media, and fans of the brand to enjoy this lovely liqueur in all its glory.

So cheers to creating something special, to conveying what we think the brand is all about, and enjoying good times with great friends, with a wonderful drink in hand.
