Walter changes the Caeser for the better

There’s nothing better than a good Caeser.  It’s a socially acceptable cocktail for the daylight hours, if you garnish it appropriately, it can even pass for a meal, with your liquor of choice conveniently mixed right in.  But not all Caesers are created equal.  The wrong base, an improper balance of spice, too much or too little Worcestershire, really there are a number of factors that can result in a perfectly good cocktail gone horribly awry.  Thank the day drinking gods for Walter Caeser for making our country’s signature drink simple, delicious, and dare we say, even healthly!

I know what many of you out there are thinking:  what’s wrong with the Caeser’s we’ve all been drinking since the beginning of time?  In fact, there are a great many things wrong, and it all starts with the basic Caeser mix that’s become a Canadian staple.  That mix, while tasty, is made with added MSG, high fructose corn syrup, and contains artificial color and flavors.  On top of that, the mix is sold in a polyethylene terephthalate bottles (try saying that three times fast).  While the Caeser drinking world may be ok with all of this, we all deserve better, and Walter Caeser agrees.

Walter has built their business all around “the pursuit of a better Caeser”, and that’s the philosophy behind their mix.  It’s prepared with all natural, quality ingredients, produced in small batches, and packaged in glass rather than plastic.  They’ve mixed in real grated horseradish, delicious hot sauce, select spices, sea salt and cracked black pepper, into juice from vine ripened tomatoes, and topped off with clam juice from the North Atlantic.  Best of all, it’s all made right here in Canada.  And it all results in an absolutely delicious Caeser.  And the best part is it’s completely fool proof – a glass, some ice, a splash of liquor (I prefer vodka, but drinker’s choice), and pour the Walter Caeser mix of your choice (well spiced, or mild, again, drinkers choice) over the lot of it, and drink away.  If you want to get fancy, add some garnish (spicy green beans for me!)  Right away you’ll notice a more robust, flavorful and, for lack of a better word, REAL taste.  It’s what a Caeser should taste like, and once you go Walter, you won’t be able to go back.

Walter Caeser mix is available for the discerning Caeser drinker either through online purchase or in specialty foodstores in Ontario and British Columbia.  Try it for yourself. I guarantee, you’ll be in Caeser heaven.
