I love wearing fun, interesting and sometimes outrageous socks, so when I heard about Huely, I just had to check them out for myself and find out more.
Founded by Dan Demsky and Nate Kogan (curator) , Huely aims to bring an new asthetic to the designer sock market.
“It started as an outlet for me to make something wearable and challenge myself to design in a different manner,” says Kogan. “But I also wanted to showcase talented artists across Canada who would fit the ethos of Huely; thinking they might want to take part in this type of project.”
Every purchase is a “Blind Box” meaning you get a surprise every time you order, so depending on how many you buy you could get any pair from the latest collection that are currently online or even a pair of a “secret design” that have only been seen by the designer’s eyes.
One great part to this line is that they manufacture right here in Canada, which you really don’t see too much anymore. We at Addicted were thrilled to hear that there was a company not only producing here, but also giving local artist a new outlet in which to showcase their work.
So for twenty dollars you can support a Canadian initiative, get a fun surprise, and you can rock some creative, bold, and totally stylish socks.
