It’s that time of year again, when the film industry is all a buzz and the city of Toronto fully embraces its name of Hollywood North. As we gear up for another amazing year of TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) we know that while the focus should be, and is, the movies, there is so much more to see, do and enjoy now that the most glamorous time of the year is upon us.
Which of course leads me to the cocktails.
Whether you are hosting a big event, or having a small gathering with friends, great food, and delicious drinks are second only to the perfect company. So I thought this year I would make it easy for you, by searching out the best cocktails that exemplify TIFF and are also still a perfect fit for the last few days of warm weather.
For this first installment I enlisted the help of my friends at Grey Goose to lend me their cocktail crafting expertise, since they know how to throw an amazing party and of course concoct the perfect drinks. In our beverage arsenal? The original premium Grey Goose, the newly launched Grey Goose Le Citron flavoured vodka made from the finest lemons from the Menton region of France, and of course Le Germain (elderflower liquor)
Known for celebrating visionaries in film for over eight years through its continued support of the film industry, international film awards and festivals, Grey Goose serves cocktails to the world’s most sought after celebrities, actors and film studio executives during the most exclusive film festival events over each TIFF season. But why let the celebs have all the fun? You too can drink like the gliterati of Hollywood when you have Grey Goose by your side.
Feast your eyes on two of my very favorite cocktails that will be served up this season.
So while entertaining this film festival season, have a little fun since we all know the summer is almost gone. For the full collection for Grey Goose check out their website today. Happy TIFF!
