The Struts live in Montreal

Today is a big day for the ADDICTED Music Dept. We’re opening our Montreal branch with the addition of Eric Brisson. Eric is a talented photographer, music and film lover. Look forward to his amazing photos coming from La Belle Province, beginning with this show.

English rock band The Struts brought their vivacious rock show to the MTELUS stage in Montreal on Sept. 19th.

In town supporting their sophomore album, Young and Dangerous, singer Luke Spiller and the guys came out swinging, performing 2 singles from that album. Primadonna Like Me and Body Talks had the crowd euphorically singing along. This band has moxie, talent and everything in between. They served up a fresh batch of rock and roll with high energy on every song with the exception of One Night Only where Luke sat at the piano to create one of the many magical moments of this show.

When he sings I Do It So Well and Put Your Money on Me, it’s easy to believe him. He’s a frontman for a new generation with the same swagger of Mick Jagger plus the charisma and vocal chops of Freddie Mercury. The band is tight, playing off each other throughout the show. From all the sweat, the costume changes, the dancing to the confetti, Montreal fell in love and had a fantastic night. The sky is the limit for this glam rock band.
