Hosted by international burlesque artist Tanya Cheex and Mysterion along with his mind reading companion, Steffi Kay, the Hendricks Gin Sideshow was a spectrum from crowd-pleasing magic and card tricks to the dark and twisted, with themes of hell harkening back to exorcisms and a nod to vintage freakshows.

The performers were an eclectic group – from one of Toronto’s most known aerialists, Miranda Tempest, to a recent Montreal neo-burlesque transplant, BonBon Bombay. Headlining was Mosh, a classical burlesque artist out of Los Angeles who’s execution was stunning! After a nearly 2 1/2 hour show it’s not easy to keep the crowd hooked, but the moment the curtain opened for Mosh, the audience was a mix between speechless to uncontrollably expressing awe – foot stomping, hollering, whistling and screams of joy.

Performers: Miranda Tempest (Aerial), Steffi Kay (mind reader), Franny Panties (Hoops), Miss Paige (classic burlesque), Mosh (classic burlesque), Bon Bon Bombay (neo-burleque) Eyeclops (death defying tricks), Steve Winchester (magician), Papa Jimbo (magician), Dolly Pockets (human marvel). Hosted by Mysterion, Tanya Cheex. Live music by Doghouse Rose.
