If you missed the Electric Island season opener, then definitely don’t miss the Canada Day weekend edition. On Sunday, July 1 Electric Island is back once again on the beautiful Hanlan’s Point to deliver up some seriously good music.

The season opener over the May long weekend saw thousands of music lovers head over to the Toronto Island for a gorgeous day of dancing in the sun, soaking up the tunes of Ellen Allien, YokoO, DJ Tennis and Black Coffee to name a few.

Gracing the main stage is the funky, fun brother duo, The Martinez Brothers. Jackmaster is also hitting the main stage, serving up bouncy, unique tunes you won’t hear anywhere else. Also catch Brazilian techno DJ Anna and UK’s house producer, Billy Kenny.

Then, head over to the Moog Audio stage and catch the harmonic sounds of Robert Babicz, local tech house DJ Any Cue, with Brian Johnson and Jermey Stott also on the roster. If you want to take a break from it all, the Moog Audio Stage is definitely the place for you.

Electric Island is becoming the place to be on the long weekend, with techno and house music lovers lining up for the ferry ride over and enjoying a day filled with sun, amazing music, and friendly faces. The best part is getting to watch the sun set over the city from the stunning Toronto Island. As night hits, the lasers and light show commences, giving you an entirely different vibe.

Make sure, as always, to get your ferry ticket in advance.

Electric Island tickets can be bought here.
