A few years back most of us wouldn’t have thought that a car would have the ability to drive itself, but here we are heading into 2015 and in the new video “The Empty Car Convoy” Hyundai shows us just that cars can do just that.
Having a series of drivers on a course, Hyundai has them, one by one, jump out of the cars. Now, ever driverless, the cars still stay on course. Not only that, but they take direction: when the lead driver brakes, one by one the cars following brake with ease as well.
The video features the new 2015 Hyundai Genesis Sedan and shows off premium Napa leather, natural open-pore wood trim, front ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, and in the spot showcases advanced driver assistance features including Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), a Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with stop-and-go capability.
All models come with some of those great features that we love to see on cars, including HTRAC active all-wheel drive (AWD) system, adaptive HID headlights, LED tail lights, LED fog lamps, proximity keyless entry with push-button ignition, 12-way power-adjustable heated front seats, an 8-inch touch-screen navigation system with rear-view camera.
Having a slick ride, an easy drive, and up to 17 speakers and Lexicon® surround-sound audio system literally and figurativly means music to our ears.
