I love coffee. Ever since my days working my first job at the bank, I’ve been hooked, and while my tastes might have changed, better yet refined over the years, I still love a cup every morning.

Once upon a time, I drank most coffee that I came across. Still, as I expanded my options and travelled, it opened up my tastebuds to a whole new world, full of notes from chocolate to mango, ginger to berries. The variations of coffee, beans, and taste are endless.

Now you may say, Mark, coffee is just coffee, and to you, I would say, no, no, it’s not.

Now I’m not saying I’m an expert. Still, ever since I started paying attention to the coffee I buy, I’ve gone from just drinking it to taking the time to enjoy it each morning. So, what can make the experience even better? Well, having a selection of great coffees to discover every month sure helps.

Recently we came across The Roasters Pack, a coffee subscription service, and we just had to try out some of their sections.

We tested the Kittel Nuit Blanche, this Coffee Co’s Exclusive Vol 2, and Propeller Coffee Co’s Baroida Estate Washed coffee.

The Propeller coffee was light, fresh, fruity and made for a delicious afternoon coffee. The Exclusive Vol 2 was fruity and fresh with heavy notes of blueberry, and our favourite of the bunch, the Kittel Nuit Blanche. Smooth, dark, flavourful, and oh so good, we loved this one.

We loved having a selection of coffee to taste over a few days; with the excitement of another to try in the days following, it added a little something special to each morning, at least for this coffee lover.
