It’s no surprise to anyone that I love to throw a great party, but since I’m a pretty busy guy who always seems to be on the go it can get a little hard to put too much prep time into having my team, friends and family over for a great night in.
Now that we are into the full swing of the holidays aka prime entertaining season, I wanted to get some tips from the people that have thrown some of my favorite parties to date and who also make what I think is one of the best Gin’s on the market Bombay Sapphire.
Bombay Sapphire is this years ultimate holiday spirit due in huge part to it’s sheer versatility and also its beautiful balance of perfectly blended flavours it can be enjoyed in so many wonderful ways.
Which brings us to, The Power Hour. I want you to spend as much time with your family and friends this holiday season enjoying cocktails and great food at the counter and less time making and serving from behind it, and what better way then to entertain then with three perfect gourmet cocktails that will warm your guests, spice things up, and will be sure to delight even the most discerning party goer’s palette.
Developed by the uber talented Robin Kaufman, these holiday cocktails are a must for this season, take it from me. We had the pleasure of making the Sapphire Pom and Spice this past weekend (cue instagram posts) and it was a huge hit with the Addicted team. Not only that but one of our writers who has never been a fan of Gin loved the cocktail.
Making it was so easy, as with in the first 5 minutes of everyone arriving I was serving up drinks for all (after really only doing about 15 minutes of prep earlier in the day) leaving me to mingle, catch-up, and pour delicious glasses of this perfect holiday cocktail.

So while you are throwing your wonderful holiday parties this season, have fun, drink responsibly but most of all, make time to spend time with the ones you love, and do it while enjoying an amazing drink. To you an yours this holiday season, cheers!
