Quarantune: “Probably” by Geneva

So, how’s that social distancing going?  We’ve got a tune today to get your housebound dance party going.  The song is “Probably” courtesy of rising Toronto Pop Starlet Geneva.

Now that we’re in need of further distraction from the crisis unfolding around us, supporting local music is the perfect way to do that. Before the time of the Corona Virus, Geneva released the song and video for “Probably”. The R&B tune is a total vibe, as is the beautiful music video.  It follows Geneva as she meanders through recognizable Toronto landmarks and experiences including Kensington Market, TTC, Chinatown and Little Italy…which also happens to be her neighbourhood. Geneva moves wistfully from place to place, all the while daydreaming about a certain somebody who caught her eye.  The video was directed by Jerisse de Juan, who worked closely with Vanguardia Visuals, who shot and edited the video, to achieve the saturated vintage aesthetic and was also responsible for Geneva’s 60s-inspired styling.

This video is the perfect distraction, and dance party inspiration, to get you through your quarantime.  Enjoy!
