Quarantune: No Matter by GRAN CAVALLO

You may be under quarantine, depending on where you are, so here at ADDICTED we’re going to be putting out more content to keep your eyeballs busy and your souls a little happier until life gets back to normal.  For today, we’ve got some brand new music from GRAN CAVALLO.

GRAN CAVALLO is the alter ego of Reno-born songster and guitarist Jack Berry, a Nashville Native who boasts an intoxicating and charging display of groove-heavy, off-kilter rock ‘n roll.  GRAN CAVALLO brings us some entertaintment for this quarantine period with his single “No Matter.”  Speaking to the rhythm beyond broken hearts and faded memory, “No Matter” is an ode to the post romance period, and the unconventional lyric video makes for great watching while we’re on lockdown.

In his own words, Berry shared: “Most often to me, the grasp of love seemed to require the finesse of a matador. My admiration for the precision of steps and movements that seem necessary to execute the dance, so to speak, parallels between bullfighting and romance. The lyric video depicts that sentiment all too well.”

So in these uncertain times, let’s think of love and how tumultuous it may seem at times, even with our feet firmly on the ground.  And as always, enjoy music and the joy (and much needed distraction) it brings.
