Preview: EDX at Maison Mercer

As part of his 9 day North American tour, EDX will be gracing Maison today,  Thursday, May 15th. Rising on the Beatport charts thanks to his single “Reckless Ador”, he’s not quite new to the scene. You may have heard of him lately with his remix of Avicii’s “Wake Me Up”, but this Italian-native has been around since 1994. He was top 3 for Beatport’s Best Progressive House Artists of 2009.

EDX has a new single coming out May 26th, which you’ll likely hear at the show. It’s called, “Air For Life”. Check it out:

With support from opening act Baranov, Toronto’s own talent, EDX is in good hands. He’s opened up for Orjan Nilsen and Jerome Isma-Ae, so it’s not his first time around the block opening up for a big name. Baranov, who’s best known for playing absolutely stunning trance, says he plans on switching it up for EDX to get the crowd ready.

When asked what to expect, he said he’ll be playing “deep, techy, and melodic music.”

If you’re on the fence on making it out—consider you’re decision made. We’ll see you there!
