P!NK Live at Scotiabank Arena

On Sunday, August 18, 2019, P!NK returned to Toronto for the first of two nights of her Beautiful Trauma Tour in the city, which were rescheduled from an earlier date due to illness. The energy in the room was electric as eager fans were finally minutes away from their night with the immensely talented artist. In typical P!NK fashion, she erupted with acrobatics starting off the night with 2001 hit Get the Party Started, before jumping into Beautiful Trauma, the title track off of her latest record released in 2017.

P!NK has stood the test of time. As she is approaching 20 years since the release of her debut album, Can’t Take Me Home, it’s hard to say something about an artist this big without repeating the words of so many others. With over 150 shows worldwide, this tour is a well-oiled machine. The performance is highly technical, with numerous sets with seamless costume changes that fit similarly to the execution of a musical. Continuing to perform the way she does with such precision and athleticism over the years is something extremely inspiring for every fan. For an extra special treat in Toronto, she had Dallas Green come out to perform two songs from their joint release rose ave., which they released under the name You + Me in 2014. As P!NK is actively releasing new music in 2019, there are no signs of stopping.
