New Music Addiction – Waterbodies

Happy Tuesday!  As this day of the week is customarily one where new music is released into the world for consumption and future addiction, I thought I’d share a fun new discovery with you that I am definitely falling in “addicted” with!  Check out our new music addiction Waterbodies!

Waterbodies from St. Catherines, Ontario, and are making a name for themselves by creating melodic yet gloriously grimey garage rock that you can’t help but jump around to.  The band has caught the attention of radio bigwigs, and have landed themselves in the top 20 of the Edge Next Big Thing contest.

Take a listen to the band’s latest single, “What the French Call ‘Les Incompétents'”.  Points if you recognize the movie quote that inspired the songtitle, but the real win is the song itself.  Listen, like and hopefully love!

And if you like what you hear, head on down to Sneaky Dee’s on July 18th to catch this fantastic act live and in person.
