New Music Addiction – Darcys “Miracle”

Like many other music fans, I was sad to hear that Toronto band The Darcys were stepping back from music back in 2014. I had loved their latest album Warring, had enjoyed their live performances several times and was looking forward to what else they had in store. But lucky for me and my fellow music lovers, it would turn out that we wouldn’t have to wait for long for the Darcys to treat us to their musical genius once again.

Back when they announced that the band was, well, disbanded, the Darcys let fans know that the name would be carried on in duo form by Wes Markell and Jason Couse. With that bit of hope, fans waited with bated breath, only to wait no longer. The Darcys are back with a new sound, a new song and a bright new future. “Miracle” is the perfect summer jam.  Take a listen below and see what I mean:

Completely and utterly addictive. You can stream or buy the track here. And if you’re a Toronto based Darcys’ fan, you can catch them live at the Mod Club on May 25th.  Get your tickets here! Let us know what you think of the track by tweeting us at @weraddicted and @thenadiae now!
