(Nacho Average) Festival Libre

Are you a patio fan? Well then you’ll be a fan of Bacardi Festival Libre! For three days the Distillery District will be transformed into the largest licensed outdoor patio in Toronto. From July 4-6, the massive patio will strive to bring the spirit of Havana to the cobblestone streets through live music, dancing, sampling, contesting, and more.

To celebrate the more than 150 years of rum culture and Cuban roots, Baracadi is pulling out all the stops. You’ll be able to enjoy the multiple musical stylings, show girls in traditional costumes, authentic samba dancers, cigar rolling and, the point of it all, rum cocktails from Bacardi pop up bars.

“The Festival Libre concept is interactive, fun and offers the community a new sense of culture. As Canada’s premier arts, culture and entertainment destination we, at Toronto’s Distillery Historic District, felt this was a perfect fit. We invite the community to experience new ideas, new foods, and new ways of living,” said Mathew Rosenblatt, Partner, The Distillery Historic District.

Vancouver, Calgary and Monteal, stay tuned, the fun will be coming to you too!
