When it comes to making history, Jim Beam knows what they’re doing, not only the world of bourbon but also to an entire culture for over 200 years. Most recently the great minds behind this brand helped bring Canadian music to the forefront by hosting performances by amazing bands like Yukon Blonde and the Luke Austin band, a show we were lucky enough to catch last week.
The night started off with an amazing tasting which included:
Jim Beam Original
Elegant. Smooth. Refined. That’s what 4 years of aging in new charred oak barrels does to our bourbon. Every drop is worth the effort and we love the idea of sticking to our great-great-grandfather’s recipe. Seriously.
Medium-Bodied, wth hints of Caramel and Vanilla.
Jim Beam Black
Our premium 86-proof, extra-aged bourbon ages years longer in white oak barrels than original Jim Beam®. It’s those extra years of aging that give Jim Beam Black® its full-bodied flavor with smooth caramel and warm oak notes.
Full-bodied, heavier carmel, well-balanced, rich and flavourful.
After the tasting, we were brought downstairs at The Virgin Mobile Mod Club in Toronto, to see an amazing show from both headliner Yukon Gold and also the opening act Luke Austin Band, who were both on their game that night and gave a packed house a fantastic show.
Great friends, amazing music, and bourbon, all I can say is, Jim Beam, you know how to not only Make History, you know how to host one fantastic party.
