Are you ready to Journey Forth with Collingwood Whisky?
Perfectly situated between Georgian Bay and The Blue Mountains, Collingwood is a friendly and quaint place where the nights are quiet and the days are picturesque.
It’s also a place that I spent much of my youth with family and friends. In the summer exploring the caves, and enjoying the slide rides, to winter time as an adult and apres ski with friends around a bustling fire.
So when I heard about the area’s latest offering last year, Collingwood Whisky, I knew I just had to try it and that I did.
Over the last year, I have had the pleasure to enjoy it on several occasions, many cocktails and two official tasting and I have to say, Collingwood whisky is a Canadian gem.
The smooth taste, the delicious yet somehow complex flavour. The fine and sweet finish, the team at Collingwood really have taken their time and made something really very special.
Here is the fine print:
GRAHAM-CRACKER SWEETNESS WITH DELICATE NOTES OF VANILLA, CARAMEL AND BUTTERSCOTCH UNDERPINNED BY A RICH FLORAL (ROSE) AND FRUIT CHARACTER.
CREAMY, WITH A PRICKLY VIBRANCY THAT FADES INTO A DELICATE MARZIPAN-DUSTED GRAIN NOTE. FAINT HINTS OF MAPLE SYRUP DRIFT ABOUT. NICE COMPLEXITY.
WARM, SWEET AND LONG, WITH A LINGERING FLORAL AND LIGHT MALT WHISKY CHARACTER.
Ready to take a sip of this Canadian delight. We thought so!
