IKEA and hypnotist Justin Tranz are at it again in the second episode of their new series IKEA Time Travel, taking another couple into the future with a glimpse of what their life could be like.
In this latest edition of the IKEA Time Travel Experiment we see Jeff and Beth, who are currently dating, placed in an IKEA bedroom setup. They are hypnotized into thinking that it’s a day in the future, years down the road, when Jeff is proposing to Beth. Skipping 15 years beyond the proposal, we see their future teenager cranking music far too loud, with the now seasoned parents and marrieds about to discipline their youngster.
The commercials are interesting in a lot of ways, but primarily because it’s relatable. For anyone in a young relationship, or hoping to get married and have kids one day, it’s like gazing into your future and seeing how massive 20 years worth of life changes can be, but in the span of a few simple minutes.
According to Mattias Jöngard, Global Communication Manager at IKEA, “The Time Travel Experiment is our way to start a conversation about the everyday moments that more often than people think happen in the bedroom and bathroom, which is why those rooms are this year’s focus for IKEA.”
We are definitely talking about it at the Addicted office’s so mission accomplished, IKEA! Check out the latest video below and imagine, what would your life be like down the road, and just what might be the perfect setting for that scene?
