It’s time to make a difference with Tuk Watches

There are a few brands out there nowadays that are all about giving back, and some include a donation for a child or family in need along with your purchase, we’ve featured some of our faves over the years.

So when I heard about Tuk Watches and their mission to give back the opportunity and basic human right of clean water along with every purchase, I had to learn more and check out their watches.

When my watch arrived I opened it up to see a simple, clean, classic watch. Well designed and understated, this watch makes the perfect pairing for your summer wardrobe but as mentioned, that’s not where your purchase ends.

Not only are you buying a quality watch made with real leather, Swiss movement, sapphire glass, and it’s water-resistant to boot, along with your purchase a water filter is donated to a School or family in need.

TUK went out to Cambodia to find a local on-the-ground organization making real and tangible changes. They then partnered with RDIC who makes low cost yet effective and durable water filtration systems. They are also committed to the local economy by hiring and producing their filters locally. RDIC, Resource Development International Cambodia, also has a distribution network that can get these filters to the hard to reach regions of the country. On top of this, they are committed to educating about the importance and maintenance of the filters.

So with every watch purchased a school or household not only get a water filter, the area is also being boosted by the production of the filters.

In the crazy world we live, we always try to find great companies that have gone out of their way to make a real difference with a lasting impact, and that’s what we love about Tuk, well that and their fantastic watches that I’ve happily added to my collection.

Maybe you need a new timepiece? Why not make a difference while you’re at it!
