Located at 354 Yonge St in Toronto is the adorable little spot known as Infuse Cafe. Recently opened on one of the busiest streets in the city, this infusion cocktail bar has a lot to offer, starting with their amazing “High Tea” cocktails.
So what sets Infuse apart from the crowd?
Well if you are a tea lover, and you love a great cocktail, you have to pay them a visit. Not only are the cocktails incredibly creative, the mixologists at Infuse make all their specialty infusions in-house to create the best and most unique drinks they can.
Some of the standouts were:
Mango Mai Tai: Deliciously tropical, this drink was made to take you to the islands. Infuse S’mores Tea, Appleton Rum (2 oz), Lime, Miracle Mango Tea Syrup, Orgeat.
Tommy’s Turmeric Margarita: Subtle smokiness of the chipotle blends really well with the turmeric ginger. We’ll let #Taology explain where he got the idea for tequila and turmeric. #BiasNotBias Infuse Turmeric Ginger Tea, Altos Blanco Tequila, Chipotle, Agave, Fresh Lime Juice, Paprika Salt.
Smoke & Honey: This Old Fashion riff is pleasantly smokey, sweet and chocolatey. Lapsang Souchong, Canadian Club 100% Rye (2 oz), Honey Syrup, Chocolate Bitters, Orange Zest.
Now the drinks aren’t where the evening will end. Infuse also offers a New York Strip or a Ribeye if you happen to have a hankering for some meat.
Once you’ve tried a few cocktails, have some steak and chips, then if you have any room left, you can try an array of cheesecakes including:
Japanese Soufflé: This melt in your mouth Japanese soufflé cheesecake is full of creamy flavour with just the right amount of sweetness!
Japanese Rare: Delicate in texture with the slightest tang of lemon to go along with a light sweetness. Option to add Blueberry Compote.
Matcha White Chocolate: Light and full of flavour, creamy smooth matcha mousse sits on top of a light and fluffy matcha sponge.
With a wonderful offering of great teas, tea-based infusion cocktails, great steak and delicious dessert, we feel like you are able to find many reasons to pay a visit to Infuse Cafe Car the next time you’re in downtown Toronto.
