South African born singer songwriter Gregory Alan Isakov came to Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall on Nov. 8th, touring in support of his newest record Evening Machines. Playing to a packed crowd, Isakov played through a 16 song set drawing largely from his last three records. With a full band supporting him live the songs filled the large room very well and there was plenty of time given to highlight the strengths of each performer on stage. A special highlight was the encore in which the band came out unplugged and huddled around a microphone in the centre to close the set with All Shades Of Blue.
