Finding your purpose

I’ve spent most of my life searching for a purpose, trying to figure out why I’m here and what I am supposed to offer back to life.

I’ve had many ups and downs along the way, but there are a few lessons I’ve learned, and one, is you must find your purpose, and now more then ever, I think that life already knows what that is.

What does that mean?

I believe that we all have a path preset for us, as such we can make good decisions and thus follow that path and probably have the best chance for a great life, or we can be oblivious to the signs and take a different path that will most probably be harder, involve more suffering and leave a person possibly feeling empty, and why is that? Because you aren’t living your true purpose.

Now that doesn’t necessarily refer to a job, or family, or even what you do in your spare time, but in a way, we all have a calling, a reason we are here, and I believe that it’s our purpose to find that, and then live it to the best of our abilities.

Why think this way?

Well as someone who took the wrong path and ended up watching his entire life fall apart, I knew I was nowhere near where my path should be leading me. Even though the lows were part of my journey, at a certain point it was my choice to take a step back and ask, what am I doing and what is my purpose.

Funny enough my addiction brought me to writing, and ADDICTED, the magazine that you’re currently reading has been a daily reminder of all that life has to offer, which has helped bring me back to my true path, sharing stories, asking questions, and along the way, doing as much good as I can.

Whether it be via entertainment, my writing, giveaways or charitable endeavours, going in search of my life’s purpose brought me right to it, and as I look back, I can see exactly what choices brought me there and what brought me here, right up till today.

From pretty bad, to pretty good, living without purpose, to living with purpose, I think that’s a good amount of proof, need more?

Is the proof in the numbers?

If you believe in numerology then you can use your name and date of birth to uncover things about you that most people would never know, I’ve actually had mine done again recently and once again I found it humbling, profound, and so unbelievably true. (If you’d love to try it for yourself please click here.)

From facts of your past to your personal thoughts and the ways you think, to what you want for your future, the numbers know. It may also have you thinking there really is something to the idea that your name is no accident and neither is the day and year you were born, it’s almost as if life already knows.

So, if you like, get your reading, have a think, and maybe you too will see that life already knows exactly what you want, you just have to find your purpose, walk your path, and enjoy what comes.
