Festival d’été de Québec announces additional Headliners The Who, Gorillaz and more!

One of my favorite festivals in this great nation of ours is Festival d’été de Québec. They’ve already announced some amazing headliners for their lineup this year, and today we’re excited to share some amazing new additions with you.

2017 marks the 50th anniversary of FEQ, and they’re celebrating with some exceptional performers. Eclectic brits Gorillaz will be returning to the FEQ stage as well, along with pop star Nick Jonas, and Canadian rockers Death From Above 1979 will be joining the previously announced artists Kendrick Lamar, P!nk, Backstreet Boys and Metallica.

Along with the heavy hitters listed above, festival attendees will get the chance to check out Tei Shi, indie-rock mainstays Wolf Parade, folk-rockers The Wooden Sky, and east coast favorite Ria Mae.

And if that’s not enough to get you excited, classic rock legends The Who, a once in a lifetime live experience for many, will also be joining the lineup.

For the full list of new additions to the 50th edition of the Festival, watch this video and prepare to be amazed.

One of my favorite things about FEQ is the entirety of Quebec City takes part. For the Festival’s 50th anniversary, music fans can look forward to a series of free events taking place across the city. For a full list of this year’s new initiatives visit here.

There you have it, yet another stellar lineup from Festival d’été de Québec.  The 2017 edition will take place at the world heritage UNESCO site of Québec City, from July 6 – 16, with tickets starting at only $95CAD. Tickets are onsale now and can be purchased here.
