Festival D’ete – Addicted Recommends

For the second year in a row, we at Addicted have the privilege of attending Festival D’été de Quebec. Set in the heart of picturesque Quebec City, Festival D’été is an 11 day long outdoor festival featuring multiple stages placed around the city’s downtown hub.  There is music to be enjoyed all day long and well into the night, ensuring that a music lover’s ears are never neglected, no matter how one’s taste may run. Rock, pop, EDM, folk, indie, mainstream and more; FEQ has it all, and that’s why we love it so very much.

Over the past few years, Festival D’été has featured some serious powerhouse lineups, including Bon Jovi, Lady Gaga, and Rush. Last year we were lucky to catch great acts like Blondie, the Pretty Reckless and my personal favourite, Soundgarden. This year’s lineup is just as awesome, and just happens to include The Rolling Stones in their only Canadian stop of this tour. While weather may have literally and figuratively dampened things during the first few days of the fest, skies are blue and filled with sun as I look out my window at the Hilton Quebec city, and the rest of the fest is shaping up to be a beautiful summer experience.
