Featurette Live at Radio

Electro-pop duo Featurette debuted their new tunes at Radio in Toronto July 13, 2019. Trained as a classical vocalist, lead singer Lexie Jay combined the precision of classical technique with the exciting energy of electronic music. The result was a dynamic vocal display that commanded the audience –– something that can be hard to find in the electro-pop world. Drummer Jon Fedorsen added dynamite to each song with lively beats that got the crowded dance floor moving and grooving along.

The duo played their latest single Million Things live and even invited a fan to wear the giant cat head in their music video (which you can watch here) on stage. The whole thing made the show feel like a bunch of friends partying and having a good time together, cultivating a sense of community among strangers in the crowd.

Fans who were at the show were lucky to get a sneak peek of tonnes of new music from Featurette. The setlist was full of synth-pop bangers, making it hard to pick a new favourite. Keep an eye out for their next album coming out in 2020.
