Electric Island announces stacked summer line-up

Electric Island just announced it’s lineup for this summer and it’s absolutely insane. We can’t wait to check out the second stage, making the wait for that summer sunshine even more unbearable. Heading into its fifth season, the organizers of Electric Islands concert + picnic series are going all out this year and we are over the moon.

With a stacked line-up featuring names such as Ben Klock, Chris Liebing, Dixon, Maceo Plex, My Favorite Robot, Sven and Svan Vath (to name a few), Toronto techno fans are in for quite the treat.  Getting the party started on Monday, May 22 (Victoria Day) weekend, we are ready for sun for the kick-off of Electric Island.  As usual, you can head to the island on Saturday, July 1 this year to kick-off Canada Day weekend, as well as Monday, August 1 to kiss summer goodbye on our Civic Holiday weekend. Lastly, you can hang onto that sweet, sweet summer freedom for Electric Island’s killer back to back weekend with Sunday, September 3 and Monday, September 4 Labour Day weekend’s mini-festival. We’re working up a sweat just thinking of all the dancing to be done.

For a festival that truly speaks to the ears, hearts, and dancing feet of electronic music lovers, techno devotees, and house enthusiasts alike, this year is going to be one for the books.

If you’re as excited as we are, you can grab a seasons pass to all Electric Island events for only $169.99 + HST. Which, is quite the steal. This pass will get you into all five events, but remember to grab your ferry ticket in advance as they don’t include your ride to the island. You can buy your ticket the day of, but we caution you to buy it in advance – no one likes waiting in lines.

You can buy seasons passes here.

We’ll see you on the island!
