Days of Giving: A year’s worth of Body Positivity from Brass Vixens

For our final Days of Giving contest, I’m thrilled to give one lucky reader the gift of health, fitness and body positivity with a year long membership to pole fitness studio Brass Vixens.

Brass Vixens is Toronto’s first, largest and best pole fitness studio. Offering a variety of classes for all levels of fitness and experience, Brass Vixens is a warm and welcoming place for people of all genders and bodytypes to explore the world of pole dancing, burlesque, lyra, hanging silks and more. Brass Vixens’ experienced instructors work with their students to improve their flexibility, strength and most of all their confidence by showing them what they and their bodies are capable of, and how to love that strength within them. I’ve personally taken multiple classes there and can attest to how challenging, yet rewarding they can be, and how open and friendly the space is, even for an uncoordinated newbie like me!

Brass Vixens boasts a client roster of over 18,000 pole loving people served in their two studios, the newest at Danforth and Pape, and their Queen and Bathurst flagship, going strong for 13 years and counting.   But what I love the most about Brass Vixens is the breadth of people they bring together, and the support network they have created for their clients.  Founder, owner and self proclaimed Boss Bitch Shannon Crane has not only built a company but a community that shows up for its members, supports them and raises them up physically and emotionally.  Humans of all genders, shapes, sizes and backgrounds walk into her studios every week, and work so very hard to gain the power of the pole, and bask in the creativity and confidence it inspires.  They put on amazing showcases to show off their hard work for their friends, families and fellow vixens, who show up in droves to cheer on and applaud each other every single.  It’s incredibly heartwarming to watch, and such a joy to witness.  And if that wasn’t enough, Shannon and the team behind Brass Vixens also support a variety of charities through their work, including the Alzheimer’s Society of Toronto and other organizations specifically supporting women and LGBTQIA2S+ causes.

For all those fabulous reasons and more, we’re giving away a YEAR MEMBERSHIP to Brass Vixens, to help one lucky reader learn to love their body through dance and fitness.  All you have to do is enter below for your chance to win! Good luck!
